Our Goal

Every article on Survival MD Reviews tries to answer one question honestly: will this book help a family act safely when no doctor can be reached? This page explains how we research, write, check and update our articles.

How We Research

  • We work from the book itself. Our articles are based on the printed and digital editions of Survival MD, not on its ads or sales page.
  • We cite pages. When we describe a section, a flowchart or a quote, we give the page number so you can check it.
  • We check outside facts. Claims about other books, organizations, prices or statistics are checked against their original sources, which we link when we can.
  • We compare fairly. Comparisons use the same criteria for every book, explained in How We Compare Medical Books.

Medical Information

We describe what Survival MD teaches; we don't add our own treatment advice. We are not doctors, and our articles are not a substitute for professional medical care, a first aid or CPR class, or emergency services.

Where the book itself recommends caution, training or professional help, we say so.

Photos and Images

Photos of the book's pages are taken from the printed book. Some featured images at the top of articles are illustrations created for this site to show a situation, such as the book on a shelf or next to a first aid kit. Reviews from buyers are shown as screenshots of the original review, unchanged.

Corrections and Updates

Each article shows the date it was last updated. When the book, the offer or a fact changes, we update the article. If you find a mistake, tell us; we check every report and correct confirmed errors.
